2 slices of sourdough bread*
1/2 of an avocado
1/2 TBSP coconut oil (optional)
1/4 TSP garlic powder**
1/8 TSP crushed red pepper flakes**
1/8 TSP smoked paprika**
a sprinkle of sea salt
a drizzle of white truffle oil
sun dried tomatoes***
avocado mayonnaise (optional)****
1. Toast the sourdough bread to your liking.
2. Spread avocado mayo on toasted bread (if using). Combine avocado, coconut oil (if using), garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes and smoked paprika. Spread mixture onto toasted sourdough bread. Top with sun dried tomatoes, sea salt and white truffle oil.
* I use Heidelberg brand as this has the cleanest list of ingredients (no preservatives or added sugars).
** I do not measure these when I make this I just add to my liking, so these are suggested amounts.
*** You can use any toppings you enjoy. I love this with sundried tomatoes but you can add anything. Get creative, play around and experiment!
**** I love my healthy fats and mayonnaise, so I load it up. There are lot of healthy fats in the recipe as you have your avocado, coconut oil, mayo and white truffle oil. If you know this may be too much for you don't use the mayo or coconut oil.
