What is a Health Coach? 

A Heath Coach is a trained and certified professional who is passionate about healthy living in every area of life and wants to help others make that commitment to healthy living, too. Health Coaches encourage positive behavior changes in areas such as nutrition, physical fitness and stress management. They do this by developing individualized plans to assist clients in achieving specific health and wellness goals they’ve set for themselves, and/or implementing the healthcare directives given to them by their doctors or other healthcare professionals. (Health Coaches are NOT medical professionals and do NOT give medical advice). As a Health Coach I help women cross the divide in the space between the gravitational pull of existing habits and the desire for lasting change. I teach women how to let go of diet culture and focus on nourishing their bodies. I will provide relevant tools to assist you during your transformational journey with me. I am a master of habit change and I can help you take back control of your health!

What is a Life Coach? 

Life Coaching is very similar to Health Coaching, as both are certified professions focusing on positive behavior changes to improve their client's lives. Life coaching focuses on what's happening right now, what a person wants next and how that gap can be bridged. It’s not a coach’s role to provide advice but rather to connect the client to their own inner wisdom and help the client make choices about their actions and next steps from their own intuition. (Life Coaches are NOT Therapists. A coach looks at your present to help you create the future you desire, while a therapist looks at your past to help you manage your present. Life Coaching sessions tend to be more direct as therapy is more open-ended). As a Life Coach my program provides curated information specified for your goals and needs.  Together we create action steps to get you to the life of your dreams. Working with me you will learn how you can become a master of habit change!
